Another month gone by and my dreams of becoming a professional photographer are still in the works.Some things are coming to light but yet it seems like a dream still far of. Ive been reading every book about photography and how to go about becoming a pro and so far , every story i read and with one thing , just do it. So if i want it so badly i should just push and jump in head first. Cause it aint coming knocking. I can remember reading a story about a photographer and he said that you can only think about becoming a pro the day someone wants to buy your work . really? what do you think? 

What do you think is the best way to go about this ? 

Which steps do you take or have you taken to become a pro ? 

I've had my work published, I've been invited to exhibitions and Ive been told my works not that bad , but its time to take that step.. to finally go hey I'm a pro i can get paid for this shit. 

another question is how to go about sponsorship for a photography idea i have ? 

i know i can go about this so many ways but why not ask my fellow photographers. 

can this be harder then what I'm doing now? working 12-13 hour days shooting tv dramas for 8 months at a time .. don't get me wrong i love it , and i learned allot from cinematography but it aint got that spark , that emotion that a single photograph carries. Photography is a challenge and a world which i don't know but hopefully one day ill embrace.
