This forum we've created is the one small seed suggestion box. Think of it as a virtual jar of concept cookies - a place for good ideas, flashes of inspiration and lightbulb moments. We’d like to hear what you want from us, how we can continue to serve and inspire you in the best way that we can.

All suggestions are welcome, so don’t feel limited to any boxlike constraints. Think outside the box, and then write your thoughts inside the little box below.

Any AMAZING suggestions that lead to a feature in one small seed magazine will see that member (the suggestor) win a pair of Diesel sunglasses.

Sow the seeds, reap the rewards.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hey Guys,

I recently went to watch this a'capella group called D7, with a bunch of mates. I didn't know what to expect,i was thinking of something like a choir mixed with a Gregorian chant troup mixed with a boy band. I got there and was blown away. Man they take well known songs, like goldfish, coldplay viva la vida, kinds of leon sex on fire, and good old michael jackson and they do it all with their mouths and dont use any instruments. One guy beat boxes, the other is like a hectic bass and then one dude sings really high and the rest harmonize. It was a full on show, that was well worth the R70 bucks. They completely unique and really cool to watch man check out their website www.d7live.com and they are also on facebook under "d7 live".

I get so fed up with either all electro, or jazz everywhere, even though i like both, this is something fresh and different that really appeals to a wide audience. The place was jam packed...

check them out guys... i really feel they are worthy of a one small seed suggestion box

Cool

A thought to share where two cents have been requested:

Perhaps a section on your web-site where local entertainment companies can add their own details i.e.: 'onesmallseedthing entertainment yellow pages'. Set out so that companies can add basic details of services ( like the yellow pages adding perhaps a website link ) . Good for traffic & the local "one hand washing the other" movement ;) ...also feature adds in that section onesmallseed could offer to make it worth your while too.

Keep up the good work seedlings

Ant :)

So I was talking to my friend yesterday about this crazy installation exhibition by a German artist I went to in London a few years ago. We were saying how there seems to be a lack of more alternative gallery / art / creative pieces in this country, due to a lack of exposure and funding!

SO, my idea is to start adding fuel to the process of building and creating exposure for those who have the talent, but are battling to get noticed – by those who need to notice them.

I think all members of onesmallseed should take part in a monthly "OneSmallDeed" .---> a little effort goes a long way.

People could even take little vid. Clips and upload it onto the onesmallseed site!

Each person should submit there “onesmalldeed” each month and each issue you guys choose the best Deed and that person gets mentioned in the mag and maybe win’s a small little something – like a onesmallseed button.

Ultimately it’s not about winning, so that should not be the focus. I think we go to great lengths to expose our own talents but often ignore those who do not have the privilege to do so for themselves.

Anyway, throwing it out there!

Often when reading onesmallseed I have a pen in my bag and end up doodling all over it. Well what about taking this a little further and letting us doodle with a purpose?

I was thinking you could have some sort of Activity page - what about a Dot-to-Dot that would end up being a really sweet graphic print of something, maybe a local artist's new design that you have featured in the mag that issue? Then you could have it as a tear out page and we can stick it on our wall! It would be like a collaboration piece between us and onesmallseed! You could even have tear out post cards we can send to people ??? Sending a seed !

how about a no download feature for the photographs in our albums. Flickr has that feature, it just protects the photographer from people downloading and using the images by right clicking and saving.

Have I overlooked this function possibly, an "arrange photos" which allows you to move images around? I find the sequence of landscape and portrait arrangement looking and "reading" awkwardly.

hello oss, is there anyway I can upload more than one photo at a time to blogs ?

I enjoy browsing the images submitted by all the members of this site, but it becomes a bit tedious as they're all thrown into one section - "Photos". How about just a few categories for submission, like photography, manipulation, digital art, traditional art and mixed media. Members could catagorise new uploads themselves and everyone will have an easier time browsing submissions in their respective online galleries...

Keep up the awesomeness!

Hi there!

Recently TuksFM got hold of a song 'Dirty Little Secrets" by a new London band called Fin Raziel. I think they're really great, and people listening to Tuks are going crazy for it. Their EP is downloadable for free at www.finraziel.bandcamp.com. They're alos on Facebook and are quite keen to get an SA mag to review them...
